A number of years ago I asked myself a question when watching an alien invasion movie. What if humanity lost the war? And after all when faced with a race capable of reaching our planet with war weapons… it would be silly to think we would win.

From that question and one more (namely: what would aliens think of us with only what social media and tv puts out into the ether to judge by?) came my new book Beneath Fifth City.

This is the first book in a series that follows a group of people through the aftermath of an alien invasion. Faced with the realization that freeing themselves is impossible, Jaisa and her friends try to make the world they are stuck in livable.
